While the likes of Vanessa Selbst and Dani Stern are saying goodbye to the poker world, the Simon Deadman of United Kingdom is opting the other way and taking up the fact that poker is becoming more complex to win at and is trying to give players the tools to succeed in the game.

Deadman has been a professional poker player for almost 10 years, mixing up tournaments and cash games. The player is originally from the UK, but now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with his lovely wife Shola Akindele-Deadman (She is also a talented poker player). After moving to Las Vegas, Deadman has cut down drastically on travelling to play poker at different places and has been seen mostly hitting the live tournament tables, cash game and playing online on regulated sites present in Nevada.

Online Poker Of France, Witness Revenues Spike In Q3

ARJEL, the French regulator has revealed news that French online poker has witnessed a significant increase in the online poker and for the three months sports betting revenue.

Revenue received by the state from the internet sports betting activities amounted €106m ($124.2m) in the third quarter; this amount is 23% more in comparison to the same period last year.

WPT New Destinations In 2017

The remaining stops of World Poker Tour 2017 have been announced.

For those who have been regular followers of this event that happens every year, starting at the Bicycle Hotel and Casino and going onto several European destinations, this year there is a similar schedule to follow. There are several stops that the World Poker Tour will have, starting with several US destinations first. These would include cities like Florida, Canada, Nevada, New Jersey, Maryland, Oklahoma and others. The authorities who organized the tour state that the partnerships with different hotels and resorts in the different places such as Borgata Hotel, Maryland Live, Playground Poker Club, Choctaw Casino resort, The Bicycle Casino and others has helped the tour to be held every year at these different places.

Indiana Not The Exception In Facing Downfall In Poker Rooms Rake

The 125 table poker room in the state of Indiana collected $1.54 million last month; this is the figure that has come from state gambling regulators.

The collection is 6.5 percent, down from April 2016, last year at the same time; the collection was $1.65 million.

The highest rank among all the casinos in the state was of Horseshoe Casino Hammond, casino had the revenue of $777,000, the second highest position was taken by Horseshoe Casino Southern Indiana with the rake of $293,000, at third position it was Tropicana Evansville which ranked $164,000, fourth was Majestic Star Casino with the rack of $134,000, and fifth was Blue Chip Casino having the rack $90,000, sixth rank was secured by the Hollywood Casino Indiana which had the rack of $71,000 and at the seventh position it was Belterra Casino which racked $19,000. MGM Poker Room, High On Volume

MGM National Harbor opened in Washington D.C. has given good reasons to smile to the authorities.

In just a week the casino has boosted the overall revenue of the City.

The MGM National Harbor casino was made involving the cost of $1.4 billion. The casino was started to do the business outside Washington, D.C. in the first week of December 2016. The casino started adding 39 tables to the market of Maryland’s poker. Despite the fact that the market had 85 tables already between three other Las Vegas-style poker rooms. Yet, it witnessed great turnout and generated revenue.

The statewide Poker in Maryland revenue during December 2016 was $3.88 million. In December 2015, figure was less than $3 million. According to estimation, new room has generated the revenue of $1.4 million. Read the rest of this entry »
