Dates for 2017 Aussie Millions announced, twenty gold rings to be won

The days for next year’s A have been declared by the organizers.

The event would start 11th January, Wednesday; and run till 30th Jan, Monday. Crown Melbourne would once play the host, as well as the Main Event would go on their collaboration as part of PokerStars.net Asia-Pacific Poker Tour.

The 2015 Main Event of the Poker Tour Grand Final €10,600 Main sponsored by PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino witnessed 337 players taking a shot at the poker crown on day 1b. The field swelled to 556 when it was joined by the 219 entrants from Day 1a and the counting is likely to go up as registrations have been kept open till the start of play on Day 2.

At the conclusion of 8 levels, the field was left with 186 players, and the pack was lead by Romain Paon with 161 ,900 chips which was less than what Jose Carlos Garcia had on the Day 1a with the chip count of 182,800. The biggest achievement of Paon till this date was the runner up finish worth €22,000 at the Main Event of 2012 Barriere Poker Tour Deauville. He is also a regular on the internet and he entered in to the first event representing Team PMU Poker, on the basis of his win of “Challenge ProDream”, an online contest.
